IRE Conference

*I meant to write about this earlier this week, but working full time and full time school plus NTTV leaves me very little time.

Last Saturday I went to the Investigative Reporters and Editors conference at WFAA’s studio in down town Dallas. I was there as a volunteer usher from NTTV for the event and was able to sit in a watch the presentations. One of the presentations was 30 stories in 60 minutes, where the speakers talked about 30 stories that are easy to replicate in what ever market to fit toy viewer needs.

Another presentation talked about how easy it is to look up information on a person, with searching from everything from family records, to vehicle purchase records. Whats really creepy is just how much information is out there about people and how easy it is to find it.
