I’m Ben Taylor, I have a degree in Converged Broadcast Media, from the University of North Texas. I work full time at On-Air Media in Dallas as a Podcast/Streaming Engineer. I also work for the Dallas Stars, shooting slowmo content for social and the stars archive, as well as a variety of freelance video production, but you can find more about that in my resume linked below.
My background is in TV news, but I really do enjoy film and cinematography as well as sports videography. I’m a photographer and a aerial photographer/videographer, with hundreds of hours of drone flight time. I’ve flown (and owned) all the major DJI drones and even some large large scale octocopters that can carry large cinema cameras.

The Laden Avarice
In 2018 I was the Director of Photography on a short film titled The Laden Avarice. This film is about a mysterious briefcase that changes hands between a few different people along the way. Whatever is in this case, everyone wants it. Directed by Ian Berry, the Laden Avarice has been entered in several film festivals including the North Texas Universities Film Festival.
